Congratulations on your progress.  The restless legs will subside substantially in a couple of days.  In about 2 weeks your legs will rest comfortably.

I had the same problem and began walking the house at night...usually for 1 hour...and, then sleep for 1 hour.

My guess is that your nervous system is reacting to the lack of opiates and is firing off impulses to your extremities.

When my legs finally settled down, my arms started to twitch.  That was more annoying than anything else.

Member of this forum will suggest other remedies.  I just wanted you to know it will all go away on its own in a little while.  Riding it out is one of the keys to succeeding.

I have suggested it many times. Try legatrin Pm. Its an over the counter med that will help with pain, and yes restless legs, it will also help you sleep. That is the main reason I first started trying it, was for restless legs and it works great!! You can find it at Walmart or the pharmacy. I now take requip for my restless legs but I still take the legatrin for other pains so that I dont have to take so much of my pain meds. Trust me try it, I think you might be surprised.

Take care and hang in there,
Aurora
