scared for tomorrow and tuesday

So I've been tapering I don't know if its fast or slow ....  I'm gonna talk in mgs because I'm coming off both oxy(10mgs which I crush) and percs (5mgs).  So the last few days wednesday - 65mgs thurs - 60mgs friday - 55mgs Satuday - 50mgs and today 45mgs... tomorrow though I only have enough for 25 ( 1 10mg and 4 percs ) I'm feeling alright I guess but feeling my pain more (either from wd or fibro) A little jittery but can't stop thinking about tomorrows 25mgs.  
God I'm so tired of this life.  Basing everything on how many little friggen pills I have.  Then tuesday I have one perc for before my 10am appt which has me anxious because of my last appt where he almost walked on me and dropped me as a patient.  Can't believe for years I was able to take ONE perc per day and it controlled my pain.... hate what I've become.

Have you looked into the other treatments for Fibro like Lyrica, Cymbalta, or Savella?



My mom is struggling with fibro right now and I'm hoping she can find something to treat her flareups other than something strong (she's on darvon and soma, neurontin and a bunch of other things)....

Stay strong, ask your doctor if there's another medication you can take that might help w/the pain and any w/d symptoms but won't give you a high. If your doctor is a good one he or she will work with you instead of dropping you to get you to a good pain level, but also help you deal with any addiction problems.

thanks for your reply.  I have tried Cymbalta and didn't find it provided much relief and the wd's from it were horrendous...although I guess if I lived through those...  

I don't think Lyrica is avail here yet in Canada and I haven't heard of the other meds you listed..  I think my doctor is really regretting ever putting me on these but him threatening to drop me a couple weeks ago was just awful....
