what are the main dangers of snorting sub as opposed to sublingual?

You're missing the point. It doesn't matter whether it's losing activity or not. You're using a drug in a way not intended..and, that is classic addictive behavior. You should really consider taking the medication as intended. The effect will not be much different than snorting them. Then, get yourself into an aftercare program, get stable in your addiction, plan a recovery, and work towards getting off the Sub. Then, the Sub snorting issue won't be an issue at all!! Sub is a complex drug ........the reason that you dose sub lingually is valid........the receptors under your tongue are small enough to absorb buperenorphine at that point on your body ....................the naltrexone molecule is larger and not absorbed there = only to be washed into gastric area by saliva and destroyed by gastric juices.............same with the Buprenorphine - - wash it into the gastric juices via insufflocating and you render most of it non-bioavailable...............dont waste it...........if you need it follow the directions............
