something at least to be happy about..

Well my daughter had been flown to hospital, they had found a tumor inside of her heart, she is 22, and she is now fine,and will be,,,,as if that wasn't enuf to be happy about,,,and it is, I feel there is soo much more to be thankful for, she had to take pain meds, I mean , they went inside her chest broke her bone, cut open her heart, they even kept her in a coma for a day,,,,(I was going thru hell), then she started out taking,deloutid(spelling), then weened her down,,and boy did I keep an eye on this,,I know as a parent, that some people follow in the addiction footsteps, but to make a long story short, she is clean,,,not addicted, and I'm so greatful that I was able to guide her through this,,I just wish I could be stronger, I feel like **** when I wake up, everyday, it's like I  hae some diesase or something, I feel like I have muscular distrophy...I don't want to be in pain, but this **** is causing me just as much pain, at certaiin points of the day...I'm sitting here now, crying, I feel like i'm nuts..does anyone else go thru this,,,I mean, I don't know if I'm sick or if it is these dam pills,,,,just wondering???thanx

Well, are you clean or w.d'ing from something?? Depression is a huge, huge part of recovery. ANd for me, one of the worst parts. I woke up crying all day too. All I can say is it does pass. It does. I know its hard. But like your post said, you have tons to be thankful for. I am happy to hear your daughter is ok. And you sound like a good mom. So if anything, be happy about that.  I wish you and your daughter all the best. And long and happy lives. I mean that.
