starting day 4

well today is the startof day 4, w/bs havent been to horrible taking alot of hot baths fo leds and body aches, i hope i can relly make it. klonpin is helping with anixety and sleep, have a head ache  so far i guess i have been lucky hop they saty llikde this but dont know any one have any thoughts

You're on the right path, you can do this now!!  The withdrawls and all are tough but with determination you will beat this!!  Take what you need otc for the headaches and watch the blood-pressure, it maybe causeing the headaches.  The stress and all  :(

Take care we are here for you!  A day or two more and you should start to feel better... keep posting.........

You can make it Jollyman!!!   I have a ton of faith in you.  You will be feeling better in a few days.  Usually day 3-4 are the worse.  I know with your kidney issues you are limited to what you can take.  Drink plenty of fluids......Gatorade if you can and water.  Stay away from caffeine for awhile.  Some people have wrapped their legs in ace bandages too for the RLS.  Hang in there as the worst of this will be over soon.  How was NA??  Sending you a ton of strength my friend...........sara

Hi jollyman.. You are into day 4 and doing really well.. sounds like you have a good attitude that in my honest opinion is 1/2 the battle.. today and tomorrow should be your worse days.. we are all different.. I also could not take much but I did take Motrin for headache.. I don't know if you can take this.. I do not know if you have been eating but sometimes this will help me when I have one.. I also hope you are keeping hydrated.. This is only temporary and the physical part will start easing up soon.. Go easy on the klonapin ok.. be kind to yourself.. lesa

Think about 800mg Ibuprofen for body aches and headaches............

try putting epsom salt in your baths, also eat bananas, I know that sounds dumb but will help with leg pains. also hylands restful leg is good, you can get it otc at walmart. have you tried anything from the thomas recipe or amino acid protocol? there are so many that swear by it..good luck jollyman, sending all my strength your way..remember one day at a time, my friend.

my body aches so bad i ahve taken several hot baths today, nad have superjeadache, just wondring how long this will last, i no there is no magic answere but some gueses would be good, got the  stomach issue under contrl and using immodium, plus haavekloipin for aniexty  any thoughts from anyone whos been where i amst?

what are you wd from?  my boyfriend is currently wd from oxycontin with about a month 1/2 of using it daily.  His wd have not been to to bad so far I am hoping they will get better and then dimminish within a few days.  he is taking larazapam once at night to help with the restlessness and being able to sleep.  Last night was the first night they truely worked really really well and he was able to sleep though most of the night.  he only woke once to check on me because he saw that i was still awake and i am still trying to cope myself with whathe is going through.
