i hope that you are still reading because i would like to tell you a story.

i grew up in what most ppl would consider a fairy tale world.  i had everything that a little girl could want...except for that big brother of mine...just kidding.  my parents provided a wonderful loving and safe environment for me to thrive in...and we seemed like the perfect little family to most.  but even though things seemed perfect, they weren't.   my mother suffered from severe depression and had horrible panic attacks.  years ago, she was treated with loads and loads of valium, librium, and even had shock treatment once.  nothing helped.  my father sought out the best treatment that he could find...but still no results.   she suffered for years before she found help.  finally, the last doctor she went to, was able to help her...and boy did he help her.  he weaned her off all her medications and started her on tofranil...which is now kind of outdated.   this drug was a miracle drug to not only her, but to my whole family.  within i would say 3 months...i had a new mother...one i had never known before.

what i am trying to show you is that there IS hope...never give up.  keep trying until you find that one doctor who will help save your life.

that is part one of my story...here is part two.

this past may 22, a year ago, my father passed away from complications following a heart bypass surgery.  that has been a little over 13 months ago...and there is not a day that goes by that i do not cry about my loss.   was he perfect...in my eyes he was.  when i get sad and confused, not knowing what to do, which way to turn...i now have to go to my father's grave to talk to him.  i would give anything if he could talk back to me.  i would give anything to have my father in my life once again.  
every child needs their father...and yours does too.  
you are sick steve...but it doesnt have to be a life sentence or even death.  i heard your desire to live...to free yourself from this prison...so dont take the chicken way out.   get up off your ass and live man.  dont stop until you are free...dont stop until YOU find that doctor who is going to help you.  dont stop until you have explored every avenue...turned every stone.   you can do this steve...i have faith in you and i feel that you have suffered long enough.   you are worthy of living a normal life...but it is not going to happen by itself.   dont you dare give up...fight like HELL.  dont make your family suffer because you didnt have the courage to fight for your life.  YOU CAN DO THIS STEVE...HOLD ON...AND FIGHT.

You have to try Steve! IF you do this it will be permanent!  You will no longer have the opportunity to fight this and get well! You will permanently alter the lives of everyone you love! People will try to find reasons why and what they could have done to prevent this!  I have seen this firsthand Steve and it is the worst thing you could do to yourself and your baby girl!!!!!!  Please reconsider....If you are getting this much emotion out of people who don't know you on a personal level, what do you think this will do to those who do love and know you!  There is hope Steve....you have to claw your way out of this and work with someone to get your life back!  I know so many people with Bipolar disorder and I know it is an emotional nightmare, but they can find a way to live a better life....you have to try! PLEASE DON"T GIVE UP NOW!
