i have a friend who's doctor told him that Benadryl (the same ingredient in any over the counter sleep med) can actually make RLS worse. I don't know if this is true, but FYI.

My mom has RLS syndrome and does not use pills. This is a condition that can happen and not be due to withdrawal. Some pills with quinine, tonic water or RLS med from doctor may be required. Getting good exercise (walking) seems to help too. Hope you get better!
I have heard about the tonic water as well.I know its hard but keep doing everything you are doing it will get better .I know there are a few prescription med for RLS but I know very little about them did doctor mention them at all?
have you tried bananas? they help me w/ my rls...My hubby said oranges and orange juice helps with leg cramps so to try them also... someone else said after a really hot bath to rap your legs with ace bandages...I am so proud of you... 29 days... you can do this , stay strong my friend....
Hi Ronnie.. sorry to hear you are having such a hard time with the rls... Have you tried drinking tonic water.. it has quinine in it.. I have heard very good things about it.. I in my journals are foods to eat to help with it.. I myself find that the very worst part of detox.. Hope it eases for you..Congrats on 29 days that is awesome.. lesa
