stopping norco cold turkey and having lupus.

I've been in horrible pain for 8 years.  It got chronic the last 3 years.  I've been on 5/325 norco for about a year.  Than 7.5 /325. Up until two months ago.  I get ninety of them a month.  I go thru them in 2 2 half weeks.  I'm unsure what to do.  I want to stop them.  I just sent cold turkey.  It bites.  I was wondering how any felt about moving down to tram adolescents 50 mg for the pain management.  Plus I have serve fatigue that's been here for 3v yeasts.  So what do you think about adderol?  And info would be great.  Thank you jesika rose

stay away from tramadol.
as a chronic pain patient myself, i find it imperative to come off all opiates for awhile to really figure out what my pain levels are.  it takes roughly 2 months off of them for me to even begin to tell what my true pain is.
i think everyone's chronic pain actually gets worse on opiates.
you think the medication is no longer working, when in fact your brain is just wanting more and more so it actually makes your pain worse trying to get you to put more pills in your body.
i have also found out the hard way that another way the opiates betray us is by giving us SEVERE FATIGUE.
i really noticed this on the fentanyl patch.  worked well for about 2 months, then i began to feel mentally and physically exhausted.  like i had walked miles in knee high mud.  couldn't shake it so started researching and found that opiates can and will cause this in a lot of people.
i take a lot of good vitamins and drink protein shakes  to make sure i am getting all i need.  feel a little better, energy wise, 2 weeks after getting off the patch.
norco was a pretty easy detox for me compared to other monsters i had to get off of.
day 2-3 being the worst.  lots of soaks in a hot bath with epsom salt and quinine (found in tonic water or hylands restful legs) and i had to keep taking my xanax for sleep.  i am prescribed it for anxiety and hate the way i feel on them, so only took it as long as i needed it.

TRADING NORCO FOR ADDERALL IS NO DIFFERENT THAN A HERION ADDICT TURNING TO METHADONE-You are never really clean.  Worst of all is that we addicts are so afraid of withdrawl.  IF YOU TAKE ONLY WHAT IS PRESCRIBED COMING DOWN OR OFF IS NOT SO BAD.  I FELL FROM A 3rd floor balcony 18months ago.  I WAS PUT ON OXYCOTIN 20mg twice daily for the pain.  Having abused other substances in my life and having to go thru withdrawl so much in my life, I was determined to WEEN MYSELF off the OxyCotin.  I TOOK THE DRUG AS PRESCRIBED AND WEENING OFF WAS NOT BAD.  BECAUSE MY PAIN IS LEGITIMATE AND SO INTENSE, MY DOCTOR PUT ME BACK ON THIS MEDICATION THAT ELEVIATED MY PAIN AND IT WAS TAKEN AS DIRECTED.

WHEN WE START TO INCREASE THE DOSAGE ON OUR OWN, THERE IS A REASON BEHIND IT.  USUALLY SOMETHING IN OUR LIFE THAT WE DO NOT LIKE.  PILLS HELP US TO ESCAPE THAT PAIN AND IT IS VERY HARD TO GET TO A PLACE WHERE WE CAN SAY NO TO DRUGS AND YES TO FACING OURSELF AND OUR LIFE.  YOU DESERVE TO LIVE THE LIFE YOU WERE CREATED FOR AS WELL AS BEING HAPPY

JUST HANG ON, THE NORCO WITHDRAWL WILL END SOON.  I SHARE FROM MY EXPERIENCE AND I HOPE YOU KNOW YOU HAVE THE COURAGE TO DO THIS.  TRY STERIODS FOR YOUR LUPUS.  BEST OF LUCK TO YOU.
