suboxins and pregnant

I just found out I was pregnant friday and I have been on suboxins for a year. Is my baby at a risk?? I want this so bad and I really am happy but, what could happen to my baby? this would be my first for my boyfriend and I and its so scary. I haven't seen a doctor yet but does anyone have any information please!!!

I have been on sub for a year know i just found out im fifteen weeks pregnant . i really need to get of this stuff im scared i am hurting the baby .Im also really scared my withdraws are going to hurt the baby . I was just wondering if you know of any info ? i would really appreciate it thank you . good luck with everything im so exited for you being preggo!!! congrats.

HI and welcome.  I am not a suboxone expert so it would be best to coordinate your care with your Sub doctor and your OB.....everyone needs to be on the same page.  From what I do understand, they will change you over to Subutex which is without the naltrexone i believe....not many studies have been done on pregnancy and sub so you really need to talk with your drs.

this would be best to talk to your sub doctor about...not much research has been done on suboxone and pregnancy, although it is not completely unheard of., still you really need to discuss this with your sub doc.... and also get to your baby doc for prenatal care ASAP...good luck and let me know what you get for answers.  boy or girl??
