i am addicted to oxy's for 10 years. non-stop for the past 2-3 years, i took my last pill last week went to my doc's he gave me suboxone. it got me through the really bad part of detox, however i couldnt handle it. it scared me, i dont know why..... i went to the e.r 3 times in 1 week from panic attacks,and being sick, the suboxone raised my blood pressure (a lot). so i stopped taking it, it has been 35 hours since i took my last pill. my question is can i take my koloinpin? after 35 hours of not taking the suboxone, the drug stores wont answer me, my doc, wont call me back, and i know i couldnt take them together, i just dont know if the suboxone is out of my system. i am having really bad panic attacks. i have no energy, and now im just venting...lol.. ok this site is great. and everyone on here is great! i am so thank-ful i found this! thanks so much for any help.

i was taking 12 mg. a day, the thing is i am only 5'1 . and 112 pds. im little. and i thought it was to much to. but my doc said no it was o.k. i left him a message yesterday, saying that i stopped taking the suboxone( which he told me i could) and asked about the klonopin. the nurse called back and said,"doc said you can do whatever you want, but to get to rehap, and follow up with another suboxone dr" so basiaclly he fired me. i was a pain i know but what a jerk! i just took 1/2 of a klonopin. i hope ill be o.k  .. i have 3 kids comming home from school at 4 p.m and i just want to get my house clean, cook dinner sit with them and do homework, and feel like a normal mommy! i am so tired of feeling like this! i can't stand it! i feel like ****, i so bad want to go get a script of vic's but i wont. i wish there was someway i could take the suboxone that i have without feeling like poop. all i have heard is good things why can't i take it?!!! i felt like i was going to die on it. now i am sitting for hours doing nothing. no motivation. i hate this. i feel like i am walking around in a bubble, like my head is in the clouds, my vision feels weird. i dont even know if all this is because of  w/d . my husband is up cleaning doing laundry, i am so lucky to have him! i am lucky to have you all to. i can't believe i found this. what a awesome site! when am i going to feel ok?????!!!!!!!!! this is driving me nuts!!!!

I was told i could take my klonopin when i came off of the sub, i was a mess.
So, a day later i called and the nurse told me i could.  So i did and it helped.
I can't imagine why the sub was having that affect on you Babygirl, unless it was too high of a dose.  How many mg. were you on?  I started on 8mg. for
2 weeks.  Keep posting and Good luck. TJack

i take suboxone and klonipin...i have no problems with it...i know the concern is, sub slows your central nervous system...and so does klonipin...i would take 1/2 your prescribed dose... and this is a question that you most likely will not get an answer to over the phone, simply because they cannot check you cns over the phone to see if it is surpressed at all...

no, 35 hours and the sub is not out of your system.  It takes 5 days to get down to 5%.  Do not take anything else until you've gotten the ok from a medical professional.  You can also call an ER dept and ask to speak to the nurse or dr on duty.

I know that they discourage benzo use while on Sub. I also know that Sub has a long half life..so I dunno if it's cleared your system yet. Here's what I would do. Look on Suboxone's website. There's always a customer service number on there. Call them, tell them your doctor abandoned you and will not answer your question..or your pharmacist. They probably will not answer your question..but very well may put you in touch with someone that can. I call the manufacturer's toll free numbers all the time with questions.
