suboxone and drug testing

will suboxone show up on a standard employer drugs screen i heard it wont but not sure i was also wondering how often or common it is for employers to test for suboxone. I was always under the ***-u-mption that it had to be speicificley tested for. I was also trying find out if it would show on a standard mouth swab test if any one knows these anwsers and knows they are 100% true and proven please let me know it would mean the world to me thanks subman.

why are you asking?  Are you getting sub from a doctor?

It will not.  Sub doctors have a special test for this drug.  At this point in time, it is not available to employment screens as it is very specific and very expensive.  With time this will change, but not at this time

you have a prescription correct?  If it showed up, u would be ok?  I do understand not wanting to broadcast u r on sub...unlike methadone, it is not an approved pain med in the US.  It is only approved for addiction so saying u r on it is a dead give-away

good luck getting ur job..keep us posted...and how long have u been on sub and at what dose?
