subutex and being pregnant

I am 8 months pregnant and i take subutex. I used to take 8mgs and got myself down to 2mg and would like to be off all the way before my baby comes in april cause im scared CPS will come in to picture and dont want my family to know. Ive even tryed calling detox centers that take pregnant women but wont take me cause im to far along. I think i waited way to long to get off of them. I dont want my baby token away cause of something i did. I really just wanna stop rite now but my sub doc is saying NO WAY it could put the baby at even more risk. I guess theres nothing i can do to avoid my family or CPS knowing. If i have a sub doctor then they wont take my baby rite? Please someone tell my some advice i dont know what to do!!!!

Hi,
I am on Subutex and I am going in for a c-section tomorrow to have my baby.  Your sub doc should be in contact with your baby doc as far as the pain management during the delivery and post delivery.  As long as everyone is on board, there is no reason whatsoever to take your baby from you.  I'm not sure what kind of advice you got in your other post, I haven't read it yet but I will tonight.  Do NOT stop right now, your doctor is right, it will put the baby under stress.  At your current dosage, your baby should be absolutely fine, but you do need to inform your baby doc of the Subutex so they can coordinate with the hospital and the anestesiologist (sp?).  Good luck to you!

Julez you really really need to tell your baby doc about this.  I don't want to sound harsh but your question from the other day had tons of good responses and insight. I suggest you follow what everyone said. I know it is scary but it's something you gotta do.  I wish you the best of luck.
