subutex and pregnet

i just found out i am pregnet also and im on the subutex program i keep hearing if i stop taking the drug and go through with drawls it will kill my baby im only 4 weeks along so they cant figure to much out with the baby yet but im so scared and ashamed i put a baby through this i know how it feels to be sick from withdrawls and i dont want the first  thing a baby feels when he or she comes into this world is pain i feel horrible and just need some info on this no  doctors are willing to take me on because im on subutex and they think its wrong please someone help if you have any info!!!

Talk to your OBGYN but I think you are OK staying on the subutex durning pregnancy usually they change ladies who are on suboxone to subutex .There is a possibility that the baby could have some withdawls when the baby is born but the doctors will know how to take care of your baby .PLZ try not to be scared enjoy you pregnancy but plz talk all of this over with your doctor it's the best gift you can give your baby

I don't know about sub and I don't think much is any info. on sub and pregnancy exists. Many healthy babies have been born to mothers on methadone , so that may be a viable alternitive.I not a big advocate of the done but it may be the way to go. all best

What are you taking the subutex for? and how long?  I had to take Suboxone for 5 days to get through my withdrawals from Opiates, and a friend had to take the Subutex for Heroin WD.  We were only allowed to have it for 5 days because it's addictive also.  I'm no Dr but I would think they would try to wean you off of it by cutting it in half for a few days, then cutting it in a quarter for a few days then stopping.  Can you do that?
