sugar/sugar free!!

Hiya every1.....Is it true that if you take sugar free methadone helps with the weight gain? I've ballooned up to 18 stone from 8stone while taking methadone. I know people say you crave sugary stuff but thats just not the way with me! I cant even finish a kiddies meal before I'm full, I think my stomach srank so much over the years taking drugs that now I just cant get a proper meal down me. Anyway does anyone know if its right if sugar free is better than the normal one? Thanks for reading Vina x

Hey girlee ....wow dident even know they offered it is sugar free....the weight gain is normal wile taking methadone it slows down your garsto/intestinal system and you metabolize more calories from the food you eat...it also sorta slows down your whole
system and most peoples activity goes down also so its a double edged sward....
on the bright side as you go off it the weight comes back off ...it did for me was 243lb
and droped down to a trim and fit 186 once I got off it...do yourself a favor and only stay on it as short a period of time as possible the longer your on it the more difficult it is to get off...I was on it 6 1/2yrs and up to 150ml ...it took 8 1/2mo to taper off and was difficult to say the least...but in the end it is so so worth it being narcotic free...methadone is ment to be used to come off narcotics not to stay on long term and im living proof that you can get off a long hard habit...good luck to you and God bless....Gnarly

Omg tell me about it I was 7 stone when I started my meth program which was 4 years ago i'm now 11 stone which is not 18 but I still feel like a monster I'm not sure about which one is better but my chemist says that they don't give out the sugerd one anymore ?!?! I don't hardly eat nout either but it's comin from some where lol I'll ask my chemist today and get bac to u!
