I have been on suboxone for over 3 yrs. I take 3 aday, but am finding that my resisitance is up. i asked my dr if i could go to 4 aday, but he said they don't go over 3 a day. Does anyone know if this is true do they prescribe more per day
I hear so much from alot of people, how suboxone helps them. My husband has been on this medication for about 3 years now. I feel like its not as dangerous are oc's(what he used to be on) but it is just another addiction for him. I try my best to get him off of it but he feels like he cant live without it. He says he can but never does. I feel like it is also the doctors fault for allowing him to be on it for so long, i heard it is suppose to only be taken for about 6 months. Im glad to hear that it helps so many other but in my eyes, its just another addiction.
Are you letting the suboxone desolve under your tongue ? Your stomach enzymes will destroy the benefits of suboxone . If you don't know .See : suboxone.com
My daughter has been clean for 39 days and has chronic back pain . She uses 7 / 8mg sub per day for detox and pain . Ever since she has detoxed from the hydrocodone , her pain and back spasms are less severe .
I have fibro------ & a bad back. I'm only on day 11, and was in intense pain on day 8 & 9, but not enough to talk about on 10 & 11. People here told me that it will go away. I'm hoping it already has, but too early in stage right now to know.
I am on suboxone and Neurotin for post op back pain, After the surgery I was left with some pain, I was encouraged to taper down from the oxycontin and Norco ,I was taking, I could not stick to a taper as I had grown physically dependent on the opiates. Them my pain management suggested that I try the sub and neurotin combination which I agreed to. Well to make a long story short it has been 9 months, and I have never felt better, However keep in mind everybody is different, Not knowing your diagnosis its hard to say if you would benefit from additional suboxone treatment. For more information on the suboxone go to http://www.naabt.org they will offer you support and a treatment locator is also , Opiate addiction is a treatable chronic disease of the brain. It takes at least six months to clean the brain mu receptors of any trace of opioids, Checck then out you have nothing to loose and so much to gain, Best Wishes---------------------NOAH
yes, please do it the right way. not only will you kick the narcotics (which likely aren't helping your pain anymore, btw.. even if you think they are - they stop after a certain point..) - not only will you kick them, but personally speaking, the Sub helps my pain way more than the viks ever did...
you'll be helping yourself in more ways than you ever know... but only if it's used properly.
please do it...
just so you know...maybe you should find your own suboxone doctor and do this the right way...because suboxone is also used for pain management...i have a lot of information on sub in my profile...good luck to you...and keep on posting...you will get the support you need.
oh, and i am also on suboxone...if you have any questions send me a message...GL!!
