I am now 8 month prego and have been taking lower tabs for 2 year, i have moved up to Oxlycodone, and take sometime i cant keep count how many i take, I have prescription for tabs but they are from my family Doctor and i have hid being pregnet the whole time (oh ya and adderall)  the baby will be here soon and i cant stop i have tryed, even better my boyfriend is hooked on them too, I dont no what to do. I am scared to tell my obgyn because i am so ashamed, imbaresed and scared I can get in troble or can the take the baby away? I need help fast what shoud i do ?  I also have a 6, 4 and 10 month old to worry about if i dont take action now i am scared i will do something i regret or who knows, PLEASE HELP! what is the best way to save myself and baby?

The best way to save yourself is to save that baby....If you dont come clean to the ob/gyn before this baby is born then you will have to suffer the consequences of your actions.  Hopefully your baby wont.............

I am so sorry.........  you have a 10 month old     a  4 year old  and a 6 year old......   and  close to giving  birth to another child.....how fortunate to blessed with those babies.......       the least they deserve is a sober mother and father.........    there is no debate, it breaks my heart  to think that any parent wouldnt do whatever it takes in the best interest of their children.......   you have been given suggestions I hope with all I have you will follow thru.......

You need to at least tell you pediatrician about these drugs, the baby will likely be born and then go into w\d and your pediatrician is going to need to know how to take care of your child when that time comes, if you don't tell them they are going to have to try and guess why your child is having these problems and it would be better if they knew upfront how they are going to need to provide care to help your child through this... don't be ashamed but please be honest, you owe your child the best care through this..

You need to tell your doctor immediately. You should be more scared for your child than embarassed for yourself. How do you hide being pregnant for 8 months from your physician? And whether or not you have  perscription is irrelevent. If your doctor doesnt know you are pregnant and you cant keep track of how many pills you take then you clearly are abusing these medications. You need help but more importantly this baby will need help when it is born.

i often wonder what doctors notice but do not mention, like pinpoint pupils from opiates or rapid pulse from adderal. sara is right. you have to do the right thing for yourself and your family. i think any decent doctor would be supportive. bring it up as a hypothetical situation and see what he says. but please say something asap. keep posting. sway

i told my doctor. he helped me taper off what was then a heroin habit. but maybe he was just really a nice guy and that was a long time ago. i don't know much about adderal but someone on here i am sure will be able to help. make no mistake. you need help now.   sway
