this many immodium cannot be normal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this many immodium cannot be normal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi all so ive been clean now 11 days!!!!!!! wohoo
but as ive been letting u all know on here the reason i started my DOC was because of severe diarrhea due to gallblader (gallbladder) removal 6 years ago ...............so when i stopped of course the dreaded runs returned and left me deppressed, house bound, miserable ........ u name it.
so ive been taking immodium (loperamide hydrochloride) i had 60 tabs off my doctor in the cupboard from a while back so far as i said its day 11 for me and ive had those 60 tabs off the doctor and had to buy 6 more packs from the chemist so thats 90 IMMODIUM IN 11 DAYS?????????
that seriously cannot be normal i cant afford all these pills all the time and before anyone asks im just taking them  to stop the diarrhea they do not do anything else they dont cross the BBB apparently and these are the only tablets left that i can get without being opiate based.
i feel like ive mega shot myself in the foot here would it really be that bad to go back to codeine now my tolerance level has dropped or even gone ??
would just 1 or 2 tablets every now an then for emergencys do me such great harm??
i dont have any other options or at least i cant think of any.

congrats on 11 days clean----if you have been clean only 11 days your tolerance has not dropped-------I would try talking to you dr. about some other type of therapy------you will be right back to where you were before you quit the pills-------wish I could be more helpful------Best of luck, Jon

another option could be diphenoxylate which is stronger than immodium but not strong enough to give you euphoria and become super addictive. its prescribed for diarrhea so that might do you some good.
