I know, sleep is tough! Just relax and try not to stress about it! Do you have any Sleepy Time Tea? Lots of people say that works well! Melotonin or Alteril may also help. Otherwise, try to read, watch a movie, etc.

Again, try to relax and just let it come to you! Take care! We are here for you! You are doing great!

Ok, so I did some math, and you'll be at 72 hours during the night tonight!  Woohooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!  That means that tomorrow morning at daylight, you look at that and say, " today is the day that I'll feel better!" Now....obviously it doesn't work exactly like that, but you could potentially feel better tomorrow.  Yes, it's your third day clean, but you'll be past that nasty 72 hour mark.  Or have I calculated wrong? Either way, you're doing great!

Thank you!  Being an inspiration to someone isn't somewhere I thought I'd ever be!  So, thank you so much.  I remember how nasty my hair got, because I have long super thick hair, and I didn't have the energy to deal with washing it and drying and dealing with it, so I just let it get nasty, until I couldn't stand it another second.  That was about three days in! LOL Yeah, I totally get it!

When I was detoxing last time and basically every time, I couldn't decide if people like me were an inspiration or if they just royally p*ssed me off! hahahahahaha  I couldn't fold a load of laundry without sitting down to do it, and then I had to take a break halfway through.  THEN the thought of getting it put up?  My family must have been kidding me! : ) But, it slowly gets better.  SLOOOOOOOOOOWLY!  The Super B Complex vitamin does help energy.  Now, I'm not saying that it's a burst of energy or anything, but it's a subtle help.

As far as being social, now THAT takes a bit!  People may get on your nerves on and off.  Especially when you're still suffering a bit, but you're back at work and everyone else is "just fine" and living their lives so nonchalantly.  I would think "hellooooo people.  Don't you have any respect for my suffering. Could you please tone down the laughing and happiness a bit?" LOLOL  It's better now.  Now....I'm the one laughing the loudest! : )

You'll get there.  You're on your way!

Busy! : )  I had to do snacks for children's church this morning.  Went to eat after with the family...mom, dad, hubby and kids.  Had a baby shower to go to almost straight from that.  Four year old didn't fare well there, having had no nap. It was a disaster.  She got two spankings outside and a few stern words and finally straightened up! LOL Yes, I spank.  I don't beat....but I swat!

You're doing great, honestly.  Some people in your shoes (me) are going berserk at this point.  You sound pretty good.  I know parts of your day seem depressing, but you're doing what you have to do to get past it.  That's what matters.  And you got out today.  That's BIGTIME!  I know it probably took everything you had in you, but you did it.  Tomorrow, get out again.  No matter how bad you feel.  Or do some stuff around the house, at least.

Keep drinking fluids and taking hot baths, even if you nod off! :)  You won't drown!  As alert as we basically are when we WD, I think some water in your nose would bring you back to consciousness! LOL

Remember, if you have symptoms, ask for specific advice.  We all have ideas as to things that work good for each thing.  Well, maybe not insomnia.  I have no clue what OTC med would help that besides a dose of Nyquil.  And even that isn't gonna help much!  That part just stinks!

I'm proud of you! : D

Hi TF ,  Thanks for asking , i am doing pretty good for a old guy . My day #60 is so much better then i could have hoped for . Feel good most of the time , sleep every night , energy comeing back . Enjoy my days free of pills , don't really think about them anymore .
Funny i spent 2 month in total  panic over fear of the W/D if i tried to quit .
That 2 months was worse then this last 2 months ..... .Ron

Hey there! You're still alive!!!!! Yaaaaaaaay! I've been out all day, but came on here on my phone to check on you. Day 4 will likely be the day you turn a corner. I didn't find it as bad as day 3. The first 3 days its hard to say which is worse. They all stunk equally for me!  Seriously they were exactly the same. Day 3 I was probably starting to add some frustration and exhaustion to it, and I just generally got sick and tired of it. But it won't be any worse, physically, than today. (In my opinion! And as its been said, everyone is different.) In my experience, and I had lots and lots of experiences, day 3 was not worse than 2!

I'm so happy you're hanging on! Way to go!

Hi Toothfarie ,  Relax don't stress yourself . I think day 1 is the hardest .
Everyone panics over day 3-4 . I found the fear much worst then the W/D on so called killer day 3-4 . By day 4 i know i could take it started to feel a bit better . I think the first 100 hours are the hardest , after that it gets better every few days . Your half way over the hump now just stay positive
You Will do this ... Ron
