What a nice post.  Thank you for the prayers.  You know I used to go to NA (for almost 20 years) and I led a panel into jails and various hospitals.  I went into jails where many of the inmates were addicted, poor, learning disabled, and very good hearted.  I also went into a hospital in an affluent part of town where there were mainly older women hooked on prescription drugs.  It didn't matter what their background was.  We all ended up in the same place, hooked on a substance that was controlling our lives.  The desparation, and feelings were also similar.    I agree, lets focus on that and leave the petty stuff alone.  Without our health none of the other things will matter.
