tossed and turned all night....

Hey everyone I hope all is well. I got a call from bro-in-law about a hour ago he told me he fell asleep at a girls house he just met, and my truck and tools are fine. I still am pretty POed but I glad it wasnt me this time running off.Day 16 today ,I never thought I would be able to say that inless i was locked up. I wanted to let yall know how special this forum has become for me, and consider yall my friends. I can t tell yall enough thank yous for letting me lean on you. I started a 12 step bible study last night, the group is made up of all addicts and recovering addicts,only about 10 of us right now but i think It will grow. My pastor used to do coke so he can relate.Ill take help from anywhere this time to stay clean.I think that the difference this time around compared to all the other times. I gotta get ready for work now and will check in later. have a productive day and keep moving towards your goals. Hope and prayers Clay TX

I think that bible study is a great idea.  They have a Life Recovery Bible that shows how the 12 steps apply to the Word.  I recommend it.

My brother goes to a 12 step bible study and it has really helped him. I wish you the best!

Congtatulations...you sound so much more peaceful!  Is the bible study similar to the principles of NA/AA?  Just curious...keep up the awesome job! You are doing great!

Hey...Wow, what progress......I remember your earlier posts...or at least recent enough!! Glad to hear things are going well for you, and am most glad to hear that you are doing the foot work towards all that......Postive days are great to have.....makes up for all the crapyp ones.... in their own little way!!

Sorry- I haven't posted in a while but I just wanted to say congrats to you- that is awesome! It is downhill from here :) I think that 12 step bible study program is awesome. The difference this time is that you have God's strength and the prayers of all of us prayer warriors fighting for you. You are an inspiration to me and are exactly where God wants you to be- it just took a little while to get there. It is when we are broken that He can come and rebuild us.
