Thank you for writing. I'm so glad I did not take that medication!

Yeah you want to stay far away from the trams they work on the MU receptors they also work just like an anti-depressant so when you wd it like going off an opeate and an AD at the same time it is so not any fun.
I'm not on either codeine or trams but I am on neurontin for pain which I am not going to be able to take. It literally is making one pupil larger than the other even though I have drastically reduced the dosage. I cannot see straight. It is doing other things also, but the eye part is the worst.
My doctor offered me trams which I flatly turned down and then asked her what the difference was between trams and codeine. She said they affect different receptors.
I was pretty sure she wasn't right and when I tried to tell her that the tramadol looked pretty bad to stop she said it would be so much easier than the oxycontin and percocets. I wasn't buying that from things I have read here.
So thank you for clearing that up. I'm not wanting something that has an anti depressant quality and do not want anything that will give me seizures!

yes...they both affect the MUI receptor sites..and trams are addicting for some...trams also affect seratonin levels giving them an anti-depressant quality as well...so tram wd has a big factor of depression mixed in with it..more so than regular narcotics..it is "narcotic like" they say..but addicting
U can not cold turkey trams if u have been on them a whiole at any significant amount...seizures can occur and they must be tapered..if u were addicted to codeine then i would be leery of the trams
