Sometimes the drugs that appear to be the mildest are actually more addictive because a) they're easier to get a hold of b) you can take them and people can't tell you're buzzing as much and c) you're told they are safe!  I have never taken tramadol but these guys know their stuff.

I took the tramadol, baxck in 1994, The Dr said it was non-addicting, Yeh right, It did not take long, and I was hooked. Went I ran out, wow was it bad. I went up to the 100mgs and would eat 5 or 6 at a time. just to feel right....
It will help with the w/d, BUT DO NOT RECOMEND IT.... They may be small but they are mighty.......
   Good luck baby....

I have used Tramadol aka Ultram for wd's and yes it does help, but I was on about 100 mgs of hydrocodone a day. tramadol in a weird way gave me energy to do things I couldn't do without my d.o.c.

My husband tried that and ended up more hooked on the trams than anything else! DONT DO IT they are a nasty drug and I have heard that they are harder to get off of than other narcs! They say that they are not addictive but they are! and they have a anti depressant in them to , They are bad! I wish you lots of luck, just wanted so share my husbands story with you so maybe it can help save someone else from them , Get better really soon and lots of prayers and love coming your way
