There are other options available, but some Drs. are hard to convince. Here the Drs. are using some seizure meds for migraines as it is now believed that migraines are a type of seizure. Neurontin being one of them and it is also used for nerve pain.
God bless
Its codine and paracetermol at high dosages i think, it was the first pain killer i was given by my doctor they come in different stregths im on 30/500, my headaches are caused by my neck and back and some kind of tension (still yet to be diagnosed) and a couple of these seem to relax my musles make me feel light headed and tired and to start with used to take them away, not sure whether i would recommend them as just found out they too can be addictive which i was un aware of, but i must say ive been on them 2 years and when i didnt take them for a few days i was fine un like when i didnt take my tramadols so im still not 100% what to trust and the doctors dont seem to have any idea and just give them out like there smarties, i wasnt warned about either pain killers but as you can tell from my comments im currently stopping tramadol and my bodys suffering so there for tramadol are addictive. if you do decide to take them just make sure you ask your doctor all the right questions before you start.
What is co codamol. I have never seen nor heard of it. I am also a migrane suffer. Thought I had tried it all as far as the headaches go...
Thanks,
Lady
