tramadol

I have been taking Tramadol for a little over a year now.  I stopped 5 days ago, cold turkey and am finally starting to feel better.  I have been doing a little reading and have seen the posts about not quiting cold turkey.  I was wondering how long that the chance of siezures lasts for.  I am hoping I am past that stage but would love any ideas.  I feel really queezy today and light headed.  But feeling better than I have in a long time.  I was taking about 600 mg a day.  Thanks in advance

Thanks for the help and support.  I am excited for the changes but having a hard time today.  I was also wondering if any one has advice for those who work where there is access to meds?

I went to my doctor and told them I wanted off of them after 4 years, Im just scared to take them after what I have read about them. he told me that there is a chance to have Seizures for 3 weeks after but im not really sure thats just what my doctor said, I am tapering down two pills a month till i get down to where I can jump and be safe. Good luck and I hope my doctors info helps =)

wish i could help you but i know nothing about that drug.  it would seem that if it is day 5 and you feel okay you most likely won't get seizures, though.
