trouble breathing-

Myhusband took his last dose of meth tablets 17.5 mg thurs am.  Last night we took calcium, magnesium, l-theanine, nmelatonin and 1/2 sominex, before bedtime.  He normally takes cardura 8mg and he woke up having trouble breathing...is there anything here that should cause that?

That was most likely a panic attack . I have them sometimes at night they are scary .I had them alot durning withdrawl (withdrawal).Now if they contuie for very long he may want to see the doctor just to be on the safe side .I would suspect that was what it was.

A panic attack is what it sounds like to me.I took my last dose of methodone 2 weeks ago,25mg., and for me the anxiety from comming off the methodone was so much worse then when I would withdrawl (withdrawal) from the vicodin.Breathing from your diaphragm can sometimes help,in with the good out with the bad.Anything that can relax him.I know if I would wake up in the night with one my husband would help talk me through it that helped alot.Goodluck to the both of you.Peace.

Sounds like a panic attack to me, but if this continues he should be checked out for sure!! I'm praying for him!!
