Jenny I am sorry to hear that this is the second time on here I have heard of someone getting from methadone to subox and regretting it that is why I chose to go c/t after others saying how bad it made them feel. Maybe methadone and subox don't mix well I don't know but makes you think. I am sorry things are worse. hang in their and keep us posted because info is good to have for others to save them from pain..it's tough enough already..a-wakan

In order to make the switch to Sub from Meth he would have to taper down to at least 20mgs a day of methodone.. and need to wait 48-72 hours from taking his last dose of methodone.to take the Sub. It is not an easy switch I am told.. most people have some WD symptoms making the change.. If he could make the switch in a detox that would help.. maybe a few days just to make the switch correctly..
I took Sub for 10 days and detoxed.. but I was coming off of short acting meds like vicodin... I did alot of research on Sub though so If I can help in any way..
