You probably found us through an internet search and it landed you on a thread that was started back in 2011 and none of those forum members are around anymore. If you can go to the top of this page and find the orange post a question tab....click on it and either copy and paste this same comment of yours or type a new question.
That will put you on the active board where more people will see your comment and offer help and encouragement.

I have been on lortabs/ perks for about 5 years! I'm a wife and mother of 4. I want to get off the pain medications also but to be homer I'm terrified of the withdraw Symptoms. If it wasn't for that I would quit without a doubt! I have 7 left and I was thinking about splitting them in 1/2 and trying to wing my self off of them but I always make some excuse to take more. I want off these satin pills but how. I'm not string enough to deal with the body aches. I so much stry aching a little I'm popping a pill and now I'm addicted and can't stop
I'm afraid to go to the doctor , I have no clue what to say , he doesn't know me that we'll and I have no clue how he will react much less get me committed! I'm not crazy I just need help getting off the medication. I have reasons why I started taking the medication years ago. I got into a car accident and Ruptured a disc in my neck and I have awful headaches. I want off the pills but how am I strong enough!!!
You need to get on suboxone or the one month is going to turn into next month there will always be an excuse I did it myself for 4 yrs
