by chuckelsg, Oct 06, 1999 12:00AM
I just want to stop drinking.I have tried evry thing.and
not making much progress.it's like it controls me.I pray
,go to church,go to AA.And about the best I seem to do is
cut down .but just can't seem to just quit.very rare that
I drink less then a 12-pack when I drink.And my health is
starting to show it.like ocasional bloody stool, back pain.
I work out 3 to 5 mornning's a week. and only smoke when I
drink. Please help me to figure out how to quit.I have children
and this is not a good influence for them.and my marriage
is hurting.Ijust want to do right and be happy!!!!!

                        thank you chuckelsg

I'm glad you found the information helpful.  Revia is also known as naltexone and must be prescribed by a physician.  So if you're interested in checking it out, talk to your doctor.  Best of luck!
