umm, i''m clean but have a prob

ok i have been clean (from cocaine) for 3 yrs and 5 mos, but i did so much in my 8 month binge tha ti lost an almost dime sized chunk from my sternum...so many probs have come of it, i havent talked to a doc yet but i was just wondering if anyone else has this problem and what do you do about sensitivity? also if anyone wants to ask me q's about recovery feel free, i'm open

Hey, first of all, I can only hope to make it to 3 yrs +...that is amazing! Do you do NA? What keeps you clean?  I am still struggling at 28 days so I know I need to keep working at this.  

2nd...do you mean your septum?  I don't know much about that as I don't have that problem. When do you see a dr about this...that has to be really uncomfortable!

ok wait yea i guess i was confused, lol i mean the cartilage that separates your nostrils, and it can be uncomfortable at times but usually i dont notice it...the biggest problems are heavy or strong smells, they burn, like if someone sprays too mcuh cologne it burns my nose and i cant breathe...
the other big problem is it still scabs up sometimes and its so dry that mucous dries up into huge chunks...also its embarassing that i have to dig them out myself :( lol but they hurt and theres no other way, i'm afraid to use those nose sprays because you have to sniff them up...and i dont want to sniff anyhting at all, lol


as far as staying clean, as soon as i found that hole i never snorted a pinch of coke again, my prob now is with pain pills, but its not a big problem....well the prob is i cant get any, i guess if i had a bottle of vicodin i'd have a problem then :p anyways as far as meetings i've been to a few, i had a mental breakdown a few mos ago and was in a hosp where i went to meetings but i was really there more for depression than pills...if i had time i would go to lots of meetings, i love them they have awesome support and are so helpful...so if u dont go to one you should try it...
