I have been on the Duragesic Pain Patch (50mg) for years and now use a generic brand Mylan because I don't have as much skin irritation and it stays on better, I also take Hydrocodone 10/325 up to 4 a day and an Ambien 10mg at night for few hours of sleep.  I've added celexa for mood/irratations and stronger Ibroprofen   Lately friends are saying dont you  read the warnings out there etc...I get so much withdrawal if I miss putting on a fresh patch every 3 days I can't imagine getting through coming off them   Has anyone down this road before care to share?

Hi! You weren't taking a lot but 7 months is a while to be on them.  So,you should feel A LOT better at the 7 day mark and almost human by day 10.

The last to return is sleep and energy. That might take a few weeks. Be sure to be taking in a lot of fluids, eating well (especially protein or protein drinks) and getting exercise.

Everyone is different, but by two weeks you should be fine. You might let your doctor know what you're going through.

Keep posting to us!
