does anyone know how long vicodin stays in your system 4?ive been tappering 4 about a mth.today is my first day with nothing.i thought i wouldnt feel as bad because i tapered but i def do feel it.couldnt sleep at all last night.sweating and rls.does anyone know how long this will last?i only was taking about 20 mg a day.then tappered to 5mg for a week.now nothing why are the withdrawls still so bad?

no problem with smoking pot either if I did not get drug tested at work!   Not a pot smoker/was in my younger days/ but agree...better than benzos

if pot can help someone through the toughest part of withdrawls im all for it i do not smoke but my husband does and it helped him so much . i think its betteer than using zanex or something of that kind .

I was taking 4-5 times as much as u were taking a day...I did not get rls...felt like I had the flu for 4 days...better each day...no probs with sleep...I guess I was lucky...I dont know where u live but everyone has the flu around here....sick people everywhere...could be a little of both...who knows...that is a very small dose, 20 mg a day but u never know...hang in there and take your vitamins and fluids

Wow the wd symptoms last that long for tapering from the dosage she was on and she actually brought it down to 5 m.g aday. That in itself it great. I could not even think of tapering could not do it. Now I don't regret ct. Two weeks complete after today and I am feeling better today than any other of the days. Feel like I hit the peak and sliding downhill to being clean without wd fast today. Hope it stays this way. God knows I am tired of all the craziness going on physically and mentally with me. Hang in there it will get better for you.

You'll have the flu like symptoms for about a full week, and then you should start to feel a little better hang in there

i thought that was weird too.im all sweaty and kind of like i have the flu.my eyes feel really sensitive too,but could be from no sleep last nght .this sux i thought i wouldnt feel anything if i tapered uughh.does milk with high pottasium help rls like bananas do?or should i just get hylands for tonight?

That is a bit odd.  I quit when I tapered down to the same and didn't really fell much of anything?  that goes to show that everyone is different.  I am very surprised you feel so bad....I can't Imagine it lasting more than a couple of days.  You say your maximum was 20mg a day?  I am a bit baffled, I must admit.  Hang in there..........

Length is sure to increase duration of WDS, but your use level was not high and you tapered. I'm in day 3-4 after tapering Sub than back on Hydro and tapered Hydro. Had no RLS last night and feel feverish today 'but can function. It will get better Don't give up. Like Jimmy V. said Don't ever give up. Your LIfe awaits you. Much love Shotrock

Sorry, but the Pot works. Medicle Mary Jane.  Don't reccomend Smokin for 35 years like I have, but Graduated from College started successful business and been re- elected to State Senate for 5th time, I smoke end of the day. Competed in last Olympic trials ( finished 7th ) and had to Quit pot for 60 days no WDS no crazy RLS. What was crazy about Olympics is pot is outlawed but Hydro is OK. How messed up is that. Actually started Hydro 4 years ago to allow me to practice daily, and here I am Just want my life back.  My addiction was 15-20 10/325 a day 4 years. My Prayers are with you.

true.but i dont smoke anyway i havent for years.i think id prob be really paranoid if i did it would def make things worse.im trying to quit everything.i quit smoking even cig.just these stupid pills got me good this time.just want to know how long it will take to feel normal again.even tapering to so little why do i still feel the withdrawls so bad?

Seems strange for the amount you were doing, if you had no RLS thats good. Remember hard stuff like Oxy and H can cause WDS that are literally life threatening, torture pure Hell. I'm in day 3-4 of WDS last night no RLS, unreal. Couldn't sleep but at least not torture. Remember the chant I Want My Life Back! You can do it. Once again my savior has been my Hot Tub and Smokin some Dope. See you on the other side. Saw a movie with a girl getting married and father walkin her down the Aisle, thought about my girl 8th grade and cried like a baby. Part of the Process.

I don't think advising the use of illegal drugs is good advice in an addiction forum.  If she 'smokes dope'  that is just substituion, switching one high for another high.  That is not the right way to go.  Weed will just lead her back to pills eventually, well it did me.  Also it wasn't so harmless for me and my family. When i was high, i wanted to stay that way, when I wasn't I wasn't happy.  It can steal your ambition, your hope, and leave you feelilng depressed an empty.

does the withdrawl days start when im off the pills completely or when i was dwn to such a small amount last week?i still felt withdrawls last week too but i could sleep at least.now i feel them so much worse couldnt sleep at all

Hang in there you'll be OK, smoke some dope if you have it its a miracle drug.  You tapered right thats a preatty small dose u were taking at end. WDS might be in your head a little, you can do it. Just remember you want your life back. Good Luck.

It'll pass, it will suck at first, but your on the right track and everyday will be at least  different until they get better, and soon you can be free to enjoy your life again!

About 72 hours it stays in your system. You will experience withdrawals for 4-5 days. They will be less than if you hadn't tapered. Look in the Health Pages on the right side top and bottom. Thomas recipe may help you.
