how long does vicodin stay in your system for? I had to take one for my back on saturday bt i have a job screening test coming up and was worried that it will come up?

If it's prescribed.....you should have no problem.  If you in fact , only took one......depends on when your test is??....Drink lots of water and get some good exercise for a few days if you can.

I believe it realy depends on your body fat %, your fluid intake, and how long you took them. If you took just one and have not taken anything similiar for a long time before would also play a role.  Should not be very long though, I understand that hydros are water based... meaning they leave your system after one full cycle.

If you only use it occasionally, about 3 days.  If you are a regular, daily user it takes about a week to 10 days off the drug to have a clean urine.  Drink lots of fluids to flush out your system but as long as you are 3 days after a one time dose, you should be okay.  Good luck
