Mike, like yorself, I have had a long time problem with the vic's. Quitting for me cold turkey was the WORST! The thing that got me thru it was admitting this to my wife. It was the hardest thing I hav ever had to do, then I relapsed and did not tell her, so quitting agian was harder this time. I was up to over 30 750's a day and like you, paying a nasty price on the street. Find someone (that you trust!) and get them involved. Lose the phone # you use to get them and fight like hell. It is a BAD addiction, but one I know you can overcome!

I did NOT realize you quit Meth C/T... WTG.... I thought you were still in a Meth clinic situation.

4 months is incredible... mannnnnnn from what I read it's the hardest addiction to break ... and you did it cold turkey to boot.

In my very narrowed opinion and I say this w/no experience of the drug... I think those clinics are like anything else... it's the Bottom Line $$ that count the most.  Which is really not fair to the patient at all.

Thanks for being here for us... what a great recovery record.   First the Vics then the Meth....

Kudos to you

thaks for the kind words and yes its all about the money the clinic still calls me trying to get me back whats bad is they keep telling " you will be back on pills or dead in the street" they also told me i would die trying to quit c/t well here I am !!! lol

To anyone who is trying to quit c/t, I dont need to tell you fatigue is a major problem. There is a product you can find at convenient stores called .357 magnum. This is simply a caffine pill that seems to help some. I take two a couple of times a day AND it feeds that craving to take something. Also, try to get hold of motrin 800mg for joint aches. The last thing that is difficult is the emotional rollercoaster you may go on (depression). PLEASE find someone close to you that you can TALK to, what a difference that makes, feeling alone in this sucks, but being here online is a great way to start. Best of luck to each of you and if you feel a need to talk, I willing to get you my email/phone number. I am definitlely not a professional, just a guy that knows what it's like.
