was in urgent care for 4 hours!

i think that was just a waste of my money. my endo was causing me a lot of pain (read post that i bumped if curious on that whole situation) and then progressed to piercing stomach pain as well, like i was just blown in the midsection with a shotgun. i bit my lip and dealt with it all day at work....because my boss on base is a she devil and already made it apparant that she doesn't care what kind of health problems i have...anyway, so i go to urgent care right after work since it didn't go away at all. i waited, in tears for 3 hours. finally i was seen and the nurse seemed nice so i thought "okay maybe they can help somehow" then the doctor comes in....i knew off the bat she wasn't going to be any help. i tell her of all of my problems and how i can't see my new doctor until feb 4th, but had no where else to go so i went there. so what does she say? "well this is urgent care, for someone like yourself, you really need to go to a doctor or even the er, we can only do so much here you know, it's just urgent care"
WHAT? i thought if you had severe problems of some sort you go to urgent care?! am i wrong here? so i listen to her nonsense, get the **** pricked out of me taking blood (now my arm looks like i have been shooting up or something) and she sends me home with bentyl. i have bentyl, it didn't help. i even took 2 muscle relaxers during the day and THAT didn't even help. :(
so i am at the point where i still have pain, not too severe, but am afraid to get a rx for anything. i know i do need them at times, but i think i would have to give my pills to someone so i can be regulated. something. i was looking into a pain specialist, and he recommended something called hypogastric plexus nerve block. has anyone heard or done this? something like injecting something into your spine i think, after locating what nerve is signaling pain to your brain from the endo, and doing somethign to it....i don't know i have never heard of it and it sounded a bit scary.
i am not sure whether or not to get a new doc all together for my endo, since my current doc with that doesn't help at all, didn't remove any of it during surgery, and is just complicated. do i mention that i am afraid to take narcotics but do have severe pain often?
i am at a loss. ?
