weak

Why do I feel sooooo weak? I'm on day 4 clean, with no opiates. I'm starting to feel a lil  better, but I'm so damn weak, I swear I have no muscles...,none. Any advice?

Dandelion tea detoxes the liver.  It nourishes the liver and replenishes energy that's been drained by toxins.

Day 4 was a bad day for me too. Force yourself out, go for a walk even if it's just a short one. It does help a lot. Drink a boost shake, eat some bananas, nuts it helps. I'm on day 6 1/2 and I feel so much better than day 4. This too shall pass.

Protein Shakes are excellent at this phase. Many addicts are deficient in many nutrients, by the time we detox. Amino acids are the base nutrient our bodies need to start healing natural brain chemistry, and extra is needed during detox and a couple weeks after, IMO. Definitely keep moving, the more times your blood passes through your liver, the faster it metabolizes the opiate. I paced my yard, having to sit down each time, but I could feel the improvements. Hang in there, you are in the thick of it. Just give it time, you will feel better.

U need to give yourself a break! Your only on day 4. Your going to be weak, this is normal. Dont push it....with feeling weak im sure exercise is the furthest thing from your mind ( it was mine!!!) But at least go sit outside in the sun for a little while. Maybe walk the block. Do the best you can. And above was right, eating correctly plays a big part in this. I had no appetite so i ate high protein bars and lots of eggs. Fresh fruit and veges, even if u have to force them down your throat, do it!!! It will get better, but its not overnight, thats for sure. Try the l-tyrosine, it works pretty well also for food absorption which in turn helps with energy.
