week 2 off OC

today marks week 2 for me.  im sure i would be able to report all good things at this point, but i have come down with bronchitis so i am feeling like ****.  but no depression, not too much boredom, and my sleep is getting tons better.  there has been a couple days that were hard, but most of them have been great so far.  i can feel myself healing already, i know its a much longer journey than two weeks but if im going to feel better than i feel now i am excited to be clean.   thanks everybody for your help.

I had the damn bronchitis too, sucks. I'm pretty much over it now, feeling a million times better. Congrats on day #14, we're neck and neck, I'm day fifteen and feeling wonderful, watch out for those sneaky cravings and you'll do just fine. Feel better, and again congrats man, HUGE accomplishment.

Much Luv!

congrats on 2 weeks. most of the big changes occur around a month clean mark, mentally anyway. you should be excited and proud to be clean, it's not always easy, but it's worth it. keep going it only gets better.

Hi,

Unfortunately, bronchial infections are common after opiate use. I got it too. It sucked. Just drink a lot of fluids and rest. That's great that you are feeling better mentally. I think that's the hard part.Good luck and keep doing what you are doing!!
