I was on Norco 10s for a few years, 8 - 10 a day, so we're similar. What you're going through is, unfortunately, a normal detox for the amount you've been using. So, like I said above, drink lots and eat ASAP. You need to give your body fuel. Most  importantly, get rid of all your sources. Especially at this point, if you have access to pills you may not be successful. Put up roadblocks. If you don't, your mind will win eventually. Maybe not tomorrow, but it will. Stay strong. As posted above, the severity and duration of your detox depends on how long you were using (months, years) and how much daily.  The basics - keep as physically healthy as you can...stay hydrated, eat when and if you can. If you can't eat then try Ensure.  Take walks, hot baths. Most importantly, get ready for the mind games.

Hi Jojo, well, it kind of depends on how much you are still taking and how fast you are tapering. When you taper the withdrawal symptoms last longer but are less severe! You might take an OTC antihistamine for the runny nose and Immodium for the bathroom issues! Check out the Thomas Recipe at the bottom of the page for other vitamins and supplements that you can get which will help with other symptoms! Stay hydrated, drink lots of water and Gatorade! Good luck with the taper! Please post any questions you might have or if you need any support! Lots of wonderful people here who are happy to help! Take care!,
