In general, no. But, coming off them will. So, if you're taking them and then coming off and binging, then that may be the cause.

how long does it take for amphetamine to clear out you're system and start to feel you're normal self again?

It depends on the drug. Some amphetamines have longer half lives. Amphetamine detox is a bit stranger than other drugs. Some people bounce back quickly...others slowly. What was your drug of choice and dosages?
