he said in addition to my depression it may have to do with me being the big 40............i do feel dopey and slow but not as irritable. guess thats my answer :)
thanks
thanks for your help
I dont really know what my prob is..................not weepy depressed, i have a great life. Just lost interest in everything and gained 10 pds and my kids even said i was always yelling and "bitchy"
well, the kids didnt say that , but i was.
I was so edgy i didnt want my husnad to touch me, muchless anyone else. It was s trange for me.
I a very fun, happy person.
My 5 yr old was diagnosed with adhd and aspergers and that has been a rough ride for the whole family .
plus i am almost 40.................39 to be exact. Who knows. I hope i get myself back. I miss me.
And so does my family
Been on xanax for 16 years, it just made me feel a lttle calmer, helped with panic attacks, didn't really notice any feeling, just absence of scary feelings.
NOW THE ScARY PART
Getting off xanax is the most excruciating pain i've ever experienced. Been tapering from 3mgs a day, down to 2mgs a day, and going any lower is worse than any pain i ever had. It's worse than breast cancer, worse than chemo, worse than labor and giving birth to a 9 1/2 lb baby standing up. ( Just a few of my experiences)
I am not a wimpy person, but this is hell. Am planning to go in-patient next month to get off this insideous medication.
Withdrawls include, possibility of seizures, heart attacks, stroke and permanent neurological damage.
IF YOU CAN, GET OFF IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
The longer you take it, the more tolerance you get to the drug and the harder it is to stop. Doctors, ( my doctors anyway), NEVER TOLD ME ABOUT GETTING OFF XANAX.
I suggest you go to the Ashton Manual website and the Tranqulizer Recovery website and read all about benzodiazipaines.
I'm not a nut, am not exagerating, I'm a 64 year old, grandmother, retired social worker. Generic, "nice lady".
God bless you
i get real stupid like ill forget i have a cigarette in my hand and sometimes i dont even want to talk when im on it.
i snort mine though so i feel it 10 times faster and better
the first time i did xanax i think i snorted half a bar and i fell asleep and i wasnt dreaming but i heard voices,it started out with just one voice and it was a guys voice then it turned into a bunch of voices then they got so fast it sounded like a tape skipping like that real skweaky sound.
it was freaky

P.S.
It is now 10 in the morning
