what is my body going through???

I was addicted to "roxies" and methadone for 3 yrs...i have been clean a few months but i am wondering how long and what exactly is my body and mind going through. I have heard so many different things and I just want to know if what im feeling both mentally and physically is due to the absence of the opiates and my body is just going through what it needs to go through, my mind too..or am I just losing my mind ??? I have so many questions......

Hey!     What you are feeling is normal-----you body and mind are still adjusting to compensate for the lack of drugs------I'm at at 132 days off of 6 years of percocet addiction and I still deal with depression and anxiety but it gets better each week ------ hang in there and you should feel better as time passes--------From what I have read on this forum the methadone withdrawals and after effects last longer because it hangs on to the receptors for a long time---------I hope you have an awesome day!!!!!    Jon
