what is your goal for today?

what is your goal for today?

We get so focused on the negative aspects of this disease. We become overwhelmed in sickness. Our minds our sick. Some of us have lived with so many negative consiquences we forget to remember to stay positive. Withdrawls are tough. Actually they are a @#%%&. Work the steps. Its not easy. Nothing worth while ever is. But its my belief we all woke up this morning for a purpose. We didnt die from our disease. We are here for some reason. Some reason. Even if we dont know what reason we are here for....... To all my cyber friends that helped me. I want to say a huge thank you. To everyone who is either starting detox or sitting on the fence. Welcome. Reclaim your life. This is not an easy process. But it is possible. I challenge you to set a goal for today. Just today. Focus on today. Break your day down. Minute to minute. Second to second. Lets focus on today. Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow will he here quicker than we realize. So stay in the moment but set a goal. Any goal. Today my goal is not to yell at anyone. Just for today. Whats your goal????

Oh.... I just thought of a huge huge great goal. I will not complain today. Do you think i can do it? Can you do it? Thats a huge on. No moaning or groaning. Lets see...... The yelling will be challanging enough...... And no more complaining. Just for today. Just for today. Lets see whats your goal. Maybe your goal is making it thru the day without pills. Whew thats a big one. Break it down into hours. Break it down my friend. If you are still numbing up and tuning out. I challenge you that when you reach for the bottle to wait it out. Put that bottle down and walk away. Just for an hour. So whats your goal???

Thats a good goal. Looking good will also help you feel good. Good goal..... Next please. Whats your goal? Maybe its standing up for yourself. Or getting up courage to put down your pills. It can be small or big. Just write it down on a piece of paper and carry it with you all day today. It could be as small as cleaning your toliet. Nobody wants to sit on a yucky toliet. Or put ones head on it. Or take a walk around the block and breathe in fresh air. Whats your goal??? Please step up and set a goal. It gives you a purpose and a sense of accomplishment. So...
