Yes the sneezing and runny nose are a symptom of detoxing! I have horrible sinuses and hydrocodone has always helped to keep everything dried up, that's what opiates do, that's why they are good for cough. So anyway, yes it's the withdrawal making you sneeze all the time.

congrats, first of all..As far as the sneezing, i don't think it is allergies..My worst w/d symtom is RLS, then goose bumps then sneezing..I can sneeze up to 50 times in an hour or until i take another pill..Finally i have found something for RLS, as that is the worst i have, but i also have it when i am not w/ding..As for the goose bumps and sneezing i have not found anything yet..Good luck and keep going.i am having surgery in 2 days and plan on stopping after that..not sure if i can, but i will sure try with all i have.
god bless
If I can do it you certainly can. I'm a weenie wimp! I just got fed up with something having control over me and I'm a control nut myself. I only had the RLS for a couple of days. That Rylands Restful Legs did help. I have been very pleasantly surprised at it being easier than I ever expected. I really did have a jump start by having the flu/virus. I suppose it was one heck of a blessing in disguise. I figured I couldn't possibly feel any worse than I already did so why go through something similar again later! So, while NOTHING was staying down.....didn't try to take the norco and I was purely miserable. But I knew it would end and after the bathroom trips I was on the upswing. Funny, I kept literally praying for a way to get this out of my system.....I said here earlier God sure has a sense of humor! But it worked for me.....guess it was my silver lining. Jackie.....Oh, best wishes with the surgery...what type? My mom has hip resurfacing surgery Wednesday so I'll be sleeping on a cot I suppose!
