The hot flashes and night sweats hung around for me for around 3 weeks. Then out of nowhere, they returned at around 3 months out. So it's non-linear. Just expect them so if they happen it won't feel so strange. It's an annoying symptom, I admit, but manageable with cold cloths to the neck or head and/or fresh air. They've disappeared for now so hang in there they do go away. Good luck to you.
I quit new years day then the next day I did a pill. So only 3 days. The last time I wd I felt better the next day. Now its 3 days and Im worse then ever. I cant bring myself to throw away my last pill. I know I should. Im waiting for someone to tell me its ok too ween myself off and do just a tiny tiny bit to take the edge off. OH GOD....Id rather be giving birth.
I'm on Day 11 and are still getting flashes. But my withdrawals always last two or three times longer than most on this forum. How many days into it are u?
I hope you don't actually hurt yourself. I have to admit I thought about it too. I was w/d on Christmas and my wife was so mad she left me alone in the house and stayed with her family. That was one of the hardest nights of w/d I have had in my 9 years of taking pain pills. I don't know what you have to do when you go to work but when I had to work whle w/d I used to go to the bathroom and stay in there as long as I could before coming back out and facing people again. I hope that you hang in there because no matter how bad these next few days or the next week is it gets better. I am on day 14 and my wife lied to me last night to go and eat dinner with some guy she went to school with. I am crushed right now and I know that if I take a pain pill my heart will stop hurting and I will be able to stop pacing the floor. I won't give in. Whether it is the devil testing me, if you believe in that, or it is just ironic that this came about while I am trying to recover; I will not give in. Good luck and try to stay strong. We all can beat this thing.
For me they really slowed down on like day 4 or 5
