when will i feel better coming of vicodin???

when will i feel better coming of vicodin???

I began taking my boyfriends vicodin about two years ago.  He was hurt in an accident.  at first it was just taking a pill here and there they would give me lots of energy at work. The past  year has just gotten out of controll for us both.  we could go through 90 pills in about 5 days.  Seriousley!!!  when they are gone  he has gone to emergency rooms new doctors or spend hard earned money for a quick fix off the streets. .I lost my job in Jan after 3 years because i opened the buisness 3 hours late, That was because i was strung out on mathadone..We get so sick and fight when were what we call detoxing its a vicious cycle.  Its been about 3 days but i bought a morphine yesterday that took the edge off. He offered to go get some from the emergency room but he starts a new job Monday by then the pills will be gone and he would be too sick to work. We are both recovering alcoholics ive had nothing to drink in 3 years but he slips up every month or so.  He leaves and comes home when he is done binging. Truthfuly today i wanted to drink to stop this agony of coming of the vikes but i have worked to hard for that. The vicodin is ruining my life now too.  I cant hardly get out of bed to take care of our child so my mom is here to help us all. Rehap is not an option we cant afford it.  Will we ever be happy again? Doing vicodin was are only source of fun times. We had energy to play alot with our son and take him out everywhere parks, walks, shopping, beaches, zoos. Is their help for us how long will it take to fell better and participate in life without these pills?? If anyone could help clarify some of this i would really appreciate it thankyou soo much!!!

There is totally a chance to start over. I personally know how the slippery slope works and how out of control it can get. You have to seriously take it minute by minute and slowly you will get back to life. I hear doctors say 4 or 5 days of hell and one week of your head in a fog. I'm here to tell you it takes a lot longer then that. It will be months before you are truly yourself, but you will be up doing the things you did when you were high. It wont be the same in some ways but better in other ways.
