where do you get relief after methadone?

I take Methadone for a chronic pain issue due to an auto-immune disease.
I have now had some oral surgery that has gone horribly wrong and need some pain relief in a MAJOR way.
The Methadone seems to block any effect of some of the pills Dr.'s have prescribed. Norco 10-/325 is what I have been given after them first trying Vicodin. It says take 1 every 6 hrs but I need 2 every 3 hrs.
What can I take with Methadone that will work well?

Talking tothe clinic dr or ur pain mgt dr/whoever rescribes ur methadone is the person u need to ask....this is not a place to come and aks questions such as that cos we r not drs/only addicts/we know alot about wd..alot about addiction for the most part...but by no mans would i tell u to take another narcotic nor a benzo while on methadone or suboxone..people do not feel the effects of other drugs while on these drugs...but can take other pills and without realizing it/end up in the morgue

methadone is an opiate blocker. That is why you do not feel the meds. I find it strange that a doctor would give an rx for methadone and opiate pain meds. Maybe a quack because I deff now for sure that methadone is a opiate blocker, which is why it is a good form of recovery for some people.
