So your withdrawals are over? That is fantastic...in fact if it was just Vic's, even to a great extent, I thought it might not be to the level as many people here.

I will not give any references nor condone Cold Water Filtration, it is simply a means to remove the most dangerous part of Vicodins.

If you are already out of withdrawal....STOP doing anything now and be thankful.

It sounds like you have a lot of problems in your life. I truly feel for you and wish you the best. Getting addicted to opiates cannot possibly help, and if you are free...regardless of your other problems I envy you.

Remember, there is always hope...always

I didn't really mean for that to sound so tough....Sorry.  I hope you can find something somewhere to help you with the W/ds, no judgements.

Hey, how about a very basic question...Do you suffer from chronic pain, or have you had some injury that would motivate a real doc to give you narcotics....If the answer to that question is yes, then fan the phonebook for docs, until you find one you "can" afford.

Was the Methadone a prescription for w/ds for something, or did that come solely from the street.

If the answer to the first question is no, then you will have to face the w/d demon sooner or later, so it might as well be sooner...Certainly that might be the best financial solution....I truly wish you luck.

You sound like you're on that roller coaster right now of spending all your time trying to get med's to keep from being sick.
If that's true, you need to find SOME way to get yourself a breather. If you do manage to get yourself settled and well with a few days of "normalcy", do yourself a favor and don't just sit back and relax in relief, going back into your life as it is. Try to take advantage of it to make some kind of "plan" that is realistic and practical. Otherwise, all these problems will come back to bite you on the *ss.

If it's the boyfriend, or the clinic, your dose, whatever it is that's put you in this position, really try to deal with it. Don't just accept promises from others that they'll do right for you. Make a plan that relies chiefly on what YOU can manage, it'll give you the best chance of success.

Taper/recovery is hard enough without all the drama of other people/things distracting you. Let us know how you're doing.

Wow this sounds like a difficult situation. I'm in Chicago with insurance so this has been easier for me.

Did you say you have some sort of insurance? If so, look into it, they almost always carry a prescription plan, in which you simply pay a co-pay. I pay $35 for $260 worth of Suboxone a month.

It is all just like a normal doctor...

I had to switch from an HMO to a PPO to get 50% coverage on the monthly visit (which should be $100 a month or so.) So that means it's a total of $85 a month for me, MUCH less than the actual addiction.(which included tons of Vicodin/Norcos as backup...)

Also it has been mentioned, especially if you drink, the most dangerous thing to you now is the Tylenol. If you can't get help, there is a process called "cold water filtration" that people should not know about, but in your case if it's your only choice you should do it. Look it up...it's very easy and will keep you from ingesting all that Tylenol.

Good luck...

i want to do suboxone   i know i pay more in a month on the dones then 350. but i don't have to have all the money at once to use a dealer you do to go to the doctor i have a friend who will pay a 100 of IT if i come up with the 250. but what happens when i cant get them the doc said to start i will need 107. dollars worth of meds aweek that alot of money and 250 each doc visit in the first week he said sometimes there are at least 2 visit theres 600 the first week . if i could get my insurance to pay i would walk 84 miles to save my life

I hope you do well Tiff......I guess you know that you ingest a LOT of APAP (tylenol) when you take 10 vics.  If they are 7.5/750, then its 7500mg of APAP.  The highest dose should be 1000mg in one sitting.  I'm not trying to lay guilt or worry you, just to inform you.  Please get some bloodwork done after you get you head on straight here and het your ALTs and ASTs, liver enzymes, checked.....

Are you saying that your hubby flushed or took or hid 10 of your vics?  Thats am imposition for sure....It would be interesting to know which he did, flush, eat, or hide them.  Take a look at Suboxone, instead of methadone, if you can find it.   Have you thought of using an actual doc instead of a dealer, a bit more reliable.....I would "walk" 84 miles before I would depend on a dealer to help me with w/d s........You've been asked this, but how long were you on the "dones" as you call them?   You say you can't afford the doc, but you can afford the prices a dealer charges???  It's hard to make rational decisions, I know, but you have to slow down, and TRY to think rationally......I don't know how long you're been taking the dones, but the w/d on them is pretty tough I hear..

No judgements, dear.  I'm sorry if it sounds that way. That was not my intention.  I've made more mistakes in my life than any other 20 people here, so I am no ones judge...Good luck....Plesae rethink your "who I trust" priorities......To trust a dealer in your situation or pay a deal, instead of a doc is perhaps not as rational as you might think....Good luck, be safe, be well, and re-think.......
