withdrawals from roxy pills

My boyfriend has been addicted to roxies for about a month now. Superbowl sunday was the last time he smoked a roxy and has gone through tremendous pain from the withdrawals these past 8 nights. He's lost a lot of sleep because of them but has also had an epiphany about drugs and god as well. He realized that he doesn't need to do these things to be happy, which is all a great thing but my biggest worry is that he isn't making any sense when he talks. He goes from one idea to the next without completing his first thought. He literally sounds like he's going crazy and it scares me. He has so many thoughts and so much energy but hasn't slept in 8 nights. Is this normal because of the lack of sleep and withdrawals..or is there something else wrong?

I have another question, and it might be weird for you to answer this but try to be as open about it as possible:

with drug abuse, it can have an effect on staying erect yes?
is that always going to be a problem or will that fade within time?

Is anything normal? I'm withdrawling off of roxy's myself. The first 5-6 days, i was a little crazy sounding. Talking nuts, moving around too much. To this day I can't sleep but for a couple hours at a time and it's day 19. I have a suggestion for a natural sleep aid. It's called Melatonin. It costs about 6 bucks and comes in a liquid form. Have him take four dropfulls at night. See if it works. It has for me the past two nights. And at least it's not a drug. I don't see the point in fighting fire with fire. I know that when I was on roxy's my mind was kinda numb and lathargic. Now, I have thoughts that pop in and out. I get emotional at the drop of a dime. I literally would cry over spilled milk. LOL. So, he's as normal as we can be in our situations. I wish him the best of luck. I was on roxy's for almost a year. Snorting up to 15 30mg tabs a day. I never knew they could be smoked. Hmm? See, you learn stuff on here everyday. If I can be of any help just let me know.

I am by no means a doc but I have went thru withdrawals from oxycodone more than once and I don't know about all of the energy u say he has that sounds kinda sketchy r u sure he does not use other drugs or something because energy is one ofthe main thing everyone I have ever talked to pin thru wd's do not have and don't get back for a good lil while. I would try and see if he doesnorbhas uses another drug but I'm not to sure someone else who knows more will help u out tho I'm sure.
