Can I take hydrocodone for pain while withdrawing from methadone? I am starting suboxone after 72 hrs.

Gnarly is right, hydrocodone is an opiate and taking it now will mess up your induction tommorow. Hang in there, you don't want to deal with precipitated withdrawls so flush those hydros. In the meantime take lots of hot baths and drink lots of fluids, tommorow will be here soon and you can go to your induction with your mind at ease if you don't take anything now.

HI dont take the hydros it will mess up  you intake for the sub  you have to be well into withdrawals for sub to work right....you could wind up in precipitated withdrawals other wise

Vikki is right...talk to your Dr.   You should be very careful with the hydros and sub. Could cause BIG problems!

You need to consult with a doctor about that. Where are you getting the sub.?  Where's your pain? When did you last take methadone?  Can you not take the hydrocodone and hang on until tomorrow?
