withdrawl

Why is it when I withdraw, which just happens between pill scripts,  that I literally twitch. Like my arm will just jerk? I experienced restless leg syndrome &\assume that's all related. That, the extreme freezing cold I feel & the depression are just deal breakers. I know that's no way to think but like now I'm down to 24 opanas. Well my next script is mother in laws morphine on the 12th!!!!! So I'll be in wds long before then. This vicious cycle just ***** ***!!!!!

Well, you can't quit because it sounds like you're an addict and addicts just can't quit very easily. Quitting requires a plan and a lot of support. It also requires a desire to be free from this insanity.

Also, to answer your question from your other post, taking your meds as prescribed would not be considered tapering because you take 24 pills a day and the prescription calls for only 6...so that would be a huge drop. Ask your prescribing doctor for a taper plan or support to help you detox.

Let me try this again. Mistakes bother me.

I've reread the OP and I just can't figure out what it is your saying. Not trying to be funny or disrespectful but what deal is broken? If its the side effects of wd's, then they would be well worth it, if you decide to continue on the road to being clean and sober. Yeah withdrawal is a real bummer but to me what your putting yourself through seems a lot worse. Waiting on your mother-in-laws Morphine is no way to live. Actually quite the opposite.

Withdrawal is just your bodys way of dealing without the substance it is so used to!  Many of us have the same symptoms and twitching, RLS, body temp changes and depression are just a few of them!!  ARe you planning on stopping your use or just waiting for the next refill?  You are doing your body such a disservice every time you do this to it!  Are you tired of living like that yet?
