withdrawls after 4 days?

I have been on the morphine pump for surgery for 4 days. taking about a total of maybe 250 - 350 mg of morphine total.  i get 1 mg every 6 or 8 minutes i think. After I stop will I suffer withdraawls or can i taper with my pain meds at home? worried. thanks.

no, you wont.  At all.  Good News.  You'll be totally fine.  NO WD's after 4 days of monitored use

It depends. Are you an addict? If you are a recovering addict in early recovery you could get withdrawals. What are you taking pain meds for at home?  I was on a morphine drip for surgery once when I was just a few weeks clean and I did get some wd symptoms. I am assuming that you might have some sort of addiction as you are on an addiction forum. Hope all goes well. Corey

no  4 days is not long enuf..unless it triggers u mentally as it sounds as tho u have had a problem before...dont let it do that..try not to have any pain meds at home if u do not need them..4 days is not enuf to hurt u but if u go into a using binge then it will be..be safe

oh,,,and 4 days of morphine use because of a surgery is not a reason to taper when u get home..only making it more of a threat if u dont need the pain meds
